I must admit I hate long journeys in the car, bus, or boat.. Since I was a little girl , the smallest trip by car was an absolute nightmare for me… nausea, vertigo, headaches, heart burn and pain all over really… In short, torture.. And even if it is to go skiing, or a for a weekend away, I am filled with dread, and think to myself, would I avoid it, if I could ?
But that was before …
I have tried a lot of old wives tales and remedies : like parsley on the lower part of my stomach, opening the window, looking straight ahead at the horizon (during the journey, no trouble occupying myself) etc.. Without any success.. The only solution that I have found until now has been to lie down and sleep, waiting for the time to pass and journey to end…
As a result, during my last journey to Lesotho, I tested these famous bracelets to help manage the unavoidable 6 hour journey, from where there was no escape 😉
