# room with a view in Paris @les dames du panthéon 4 *

Ah Paris Paris.. A sublime city which captivates and seduces the whole world, the most romantic place, the city of lights, and an unavoidable destination for a city trip alone, with friends, family or even better, for a romantic getaway.. It was inevitable that I tell you about it 😉 So I decided to show you the most beautiful Parisian hotels that I have tried, tested and loved.. And to begin, direction the 5 ieme arrondissement (fifth district) of Paris, in the Latin quarter, just opposite  to the famous Panthéon for a romantic room with a view…

Les Dames du Pantheon****

On our return from Africa, we settled down on the 6th and last floor of this adorable boutique hotel, in a pleasant and cosy room with a sublime view both day and night on the Pantheon and the rooftops of Paris.. And naturally we absolutely loved it.. It was a very nice way to return to France, by pretending to be tourists for a night in the city of lights…

And even if it rained the majority of the time – Paris would not be Paris without the grey sky right? – It was still lovely..we stayed together inside in our cosy cocoon, watching films and enjoying snacks under the duvet in our little Parisian hideaway, which was a perfect way to recover from our long journey . And there was even a little hint of sunshine the next morning so we were able to take full advantage of the view for breakfast 😉 What more could you ask for?

As far as visits go, we were rather well situated at Les Dames du Pantheon for discovering the capital, because we were right in the middle of the Latin quarter, which is really pleasant, busy and full of students, it is where we can find Monge street, the Sorbonne, and les arènes de Lutèce … and we were also near numerous places of interest such as le Jardin du Luxembourg, le Jardin des Plantes, les quais de la Seine, Saint-Germain des Prés … So it really was an ideal starting point to play tourists and stroll through Paris ..

Aside from its geographical location, the main advantage of this little boutique hotel is of course the sublime view of Paris from the Pantheon, which more or less every room has… But the atmosphere is worth seeing too .. Intimate, sophisticated, contemporary, feminine and rather original furniture, vintage ornaments, and beautiful wallpaper..The hotel is a an absolute jewel that celebrates free and independent women, known and unknown who have made a mark on history… and each floor is dedicated to a lady. A rich and elegant atmosphere where we feel so good and right at home, that it really what I love about this hotel…

Guided tour: The 1st floor entitled  ” la cocotte ” is inspired by the pretty and mischievous atmosphere of the boudoirs of the 19 century, and so pays tribute to the courtesans of that time in history, specifically the famous Valtesse de la Bigne.. The 2nd floor is dedicated to Edith Piaf and takes us back to the fifties with a smart and retro atmosphere, whereas the third floor takes us to 1900s and opts for masculine and feminine inspired by the famous George Sand.

After the jazzy atmosphere of 4th floor in homage to Juliette Gréco, we cross time to plunge into the sensual and African atmosphere of 5th floor, dedicated to Signares women (Mixed race Africans who stemmed from the love affairs of slaves and European colonists) and finally, the 6th floor with its Asian tones is dedicated to Marguerite Duras, and his famous novel The lover, which tells the love story of a girl and her Chinese lover..

Our attractive room which was situated in this floor had a sublime Asian tapestry, exposed beams and a ceiling painted with butterflies.. The atmosphere was very poetic and beautiful...

Tried and tested ..

Our stay in this hotel was very relaxing and this Parisian address scores full points. If there was a tiny critique it would be for the breakfast room that was situated underground, a bit of a shame really.. so we preferred to eat breakfast in our room to take full advantage of the view, but apart from that Les Dames du Panthéon is perfect 😉

And regarding the rates are quite reasonable for a boutique hotel in Paris. Depending of when you book, a classic room starts at 170 euros and can reach 400 euros. The hotel offers packages such as “pay 3 stay 4 nights deals “, early bird and  last minutes deals (149 euros) or even flex booking with or without breakfast (165 to 180 euros ).. To find the best rates you can compare the prices of the hotel website  and  the different offers from the booking website such as hôtels.com, splendia, booking.com etc…

In short, an elegant place that you must visit for a an afternoon tea or a romantic weekend getaway in the capital…
