# sweet spot in Paris @l’hôtel de Nell 5*..

To continue with the theme of my favorite Parisian hotels, let’s take a closer look at l’Hôtel de Nell, a real design gem, modern and cosy where I simply love to stay…

What I love about it :

-The atmosphere .. intimate, comfortable, Le Nell is a real cocoon, discretely luxurious but with all the qualities of a high class hotel…Everything so that we feel great, and that makes it very pleasant..

The Parisian bistro vibes of the restaurant, elegant, traditional, revisited, authentic and modern all rolled into one, and here also really feel great!

Breakfast, really filling and absolutely delicious..There is a wide array of choice (different & fresh kind of breads, Fauchon jams, butter, warm pastries, fruits, muesli, juices.. ), from basic breakfast staples to extras that we can add on from the menu. And I have to give special mention to their riz au lait to die for..(french milk rice). Usually I am not especially a huge fan of it, but I wanted to taste some since I was there… and wow what a huge surprise… melting, delicate, tasty, but not heavy or too filling at all, just perfection.. and I have since become addicted to it, and keep asking for it non stop..It has to the be the best and the lightest that I have ever eaten, you need to go and try it now!!!

Hot chocolate by the fire, in the main loving area at snack time..In fact at Nell’s snack time is sacred, and we can try the real authentic “Parisian snack” with delicious brioches, and of course the famous rice pudding..all of this with champagne or whatever you fancy 😉 From Tuesday to Sunday from 3pm to 6 pm, costing between 25 and 40 euros, open to everyone.. Info & reservations 33(0)1 44 83 83 60 )

Neighborhood.. This 5 star hotel is very well situated because it is in the 9 ème, close to the subway, grands boulevards station and cadet station ( subway lines 7, 8, 9).. If you want to stroll, you can also go by foot to Montmartre, the Louvre, the Madeleine, or even the Opera to take full advantage of the best spot of Paris.. And if like me you come to work in and around the city, you will be extremely happy with it’s situation…

The Japanese bath in my room! Ok it take s a long time to run, but it is so much fun to try out, and I really appreciated it after a long day at castings and photo shoots to just sink into the warm bubbles and relax. I used the special effervescent bubble bath salts, that I was not familiar with, but that I now love, there are three different rituals, energizing, purifying and destressing.. I personally prefer the destress variety, with candles and a nice hot tea..Hmm complete and utter bliss…

My room, nothing exceptional to mention about my prestige category room, other than it was very comfortable, minimalist, elegant and quite light (I went during winter so the sun is lower depending on the time of day, but the room was still bright) . The bed was perfect, we sleep very well. There was also a Nespresso machine in the room to the great delight of my coffee addict partner 😉

Little gifts and attentions.. Every night, I found little sachets from Bulgari for the bathroom, and chocolates on my bed…

Things I didn’t like :

The one slight drawback for me was the price for the meals at the restaurant. We ate there once, and the price was just too high..even by Paris standards.
