Summer time and holidays are finally upon us (for some of us anyway).. Here are several little things, that you should try out to add a bit of sunshine and fun into your daily lives <3

It book //

Happiness for beginners.. Here is a nice book, full of humor, which gives us lots of tips to feeling better in our mind and in our lives, and even better, it’s in the form of a comic book, easy to read on holiday or all year round actually. A great way to work on yourself, and your inner wisdom.. To sum up, a book full of good vibes, that I suggest adding to your collection immediately Available @ Fnac or Amazon !

Mini terrarium by green factory.. Few weeks ago, I got this adorable little thing in my mail box for the blog.. and what a cool surprise.. it is literally just so cute.. it is actually a glass egg which contains a terrarium, a kind of almost independent ecosystem.. There is little maintenance which will be a huge delight to those who are not particularly plant friendly and always seem to forget to water their plants and flowers.. it’s very easy to take care of this small terrarium and keep it alive since it only needs watering once or twice a year and to remove any dead leaves if necessary ;-).. It is also a beautiful ornament to give as a gift to your friends, or just to treat yourself to something pretty for the home 😉

Sunscreen mist by Bioderma .. An absolute must and something to always have to hand in your beach bag, or even your regular handbag… It leaves no stains or traces on any material or clothes, is not greasy, and is transparent and easy to apply, I have definitely adopted the solar mist, and specifically the Bioderma’s version for the face, in travel format, factor SPF 30 : hydrabio eau de soin... It feels like a water mist spray, except that it also protects us from the UV rays and it doesn’t ruin your make up. It is the perfect city sunscreen, which can be used for touch-ups during the day on bare skin or on top of your make up… This sunscreen water mist is not water resistant so if spend the day at the beach or you intend to be doing some sports outside during the day and will be exposing yourself to UV rays, apply a regular sunscreen in the morning and use the mist for touch-ups. Bioderma also offert a sun mist in large format / SPF 50 for the body and this one is water resistant =>Photoderm max Brume solaire ..

Phyto Plage … I had a huge crush on the new range of hair products by phyto, which besides smelling divinely good, are really great for protecting your hair.. I tested the protective veil and the oil during my trip to the Mauritius Islands, and both are excellent. Of course the textures are different but they are complementary treatments; the protective sun veil is lighter, perfect to apply to split ends in case of over sun exposure, and the oil is to be applied to the ends before going into the water.. Result ; after 15 days under the Mauritian sun, my hair is perfect, not dried out or damaged;)

Beach pad.. Another item that I just cracked for, and this one will be very useful for all the beach lover 🙂 I found this cutebeach pillow in Ibiza (yes because there, there are stone creeks and beaches) and since purchasing it, it has not left my side, I take it everywhere, in the car, on the plane.. Light, colorful and much more comfy than any other beach pillows that I have tried previously… There are various motifs and patterns; bananas, birds, pineapple, I chose watermelons 😉 Also you can buy this wonderful pillow at Naturo, a chain of shops that can be found in Spain, Portugal or Ibiza. The good news is that we can also buy it online, here <3

Lunch box sunny life .. Well OK I am a big fan of this Australian brand, which smells just like holiday and travel, and which offers any kind of colourful and trendy gadget for summer. We are already familiar with their giant flamingo floats which we all saw at least once on the social medias… This year they have brought out a super cool lunch box range, decorated and colored with pineapples, bananas, pink flamingos, etc. perfect for a summer picnic, or simply to brighten up your lunch break at work… My favourite is the one that they made in collaboration with Tiffany Cooper which we can find at Colette’s, on the site of Sunny Life directly, or here .. Other models are also available on other sites (Asos, l’Avantgardiste, mon petit bikini.com) or in certain shops like Citadium for example.

Ultimate ears .. I had already told you about the colorful portable UE speaker last year, remember this cute little wireless speakers ? (if not, here is a catch up ).. Well last month I have received the latest UE speaker, the Cashmere Wonderboom and I just looove this cute little thing.. But besides being trendy, this speaker is really great, the sound is good, and of course, as with all the UE, it’s waterproof, so we can stream music anytime, anywhere throughout the day, whether we’re chilling at the beach or in the pool 😉 Oh and there are several colors to choose from, the choice is yours 😉

Chachawax Banggles.. These ethnic, unique and hand-made bracelets are simply gorgeous .. Made from waxed and polished African fabrics, or plastic colored by the Senegalese women, these chic and elegant jewels smell of sunshine and travel !! I absolutely love them !! H&M home .. So even though I am not a huge fan of H&M clothes (most of the time of average quality), I was however blown away by their home selection.. which is equally as good as Zara Home’s or Maison du Monde, although slightly cheaper but just as nice. It’s full of ethnic, cool, hidden things, linen, beach towels, candles, wooden trays, and full of smart, ethnic, rustic accessories. They have everything you need to accessorize your house in style without breaking the bank…

Aménaphi : Big crush also for the summer collection from Aménaphi, which is the ready to wear version of Hipanema.. I love this Boho chic spirit, with fringes, pompoms and colorful beach cover ups.. see them here...

L’avantgardiste .. I love this website!!! It has all the most original gadgets, kawaii and trendy items of moment.. floats, portable barbecues, watermelon cutters etc.. Everything you need (or you don’t need actually .. ) is on this website.. be careful your credit card is going to get some serious usage. It’s also a great place to shop when you are looking to buy a gift for someone…

Mon petit bikini .. Shirts, clothes and beach accessories, decorations etc everything that we need to be feeling and looking great during our summer holidays, and all accessible without spending hours going to all different shops. The brands on the site are amazing (hipanema, roxy etc.) They also offer express Delivery. The only thing left to do is choose and order on-line before taking off on your vacation! What more could you ask for??
