Positive vibes, mind & soul..
Hello hello <3 First off, let me begin by saying sorry for not posting on the last few weeks.. I really needed to take some time off, some quality time with my Love & Pets at home because everything just happened so quickly, I had just no time to do anything… After getting back from New York, we left pretty much straight away for a photo shoot in the Caribbean, and one shooting merged into the next, it’s almost the end of January ! Fortunately it is not too late to wish you all a wonderful new year, filled with love, good vibes and lots of happiness.. And speaking of good vibes, in this first article of 2018, I will be talking to you about energy of thought, about the influence our thoughts and feelings impact our day-to-day lives… Because surprisingly our thoughts and our way of speaking and communicating really does influence things, whether we are conscious of it or not ; sometimes we want something so bad .. but without being aware that we are doing it, actually express and convey the opposite with our words or thoughts, so the opposite of what we really wished, happens.. To simplify all of this, I am going to share with you my personal experience, and specifically some small simple exercises to do every day, which changed my life, and the way in which I see the world…
When “ ask and it’s given” makes perfect sense…
Some time ago, I went through a bit of a bad patch in terms of my job and of course needless to say, money. My morale was at an all time low, my confidence completely plummeted, everything felt like it was slipping away ( apart from love, lucky me). I seemed to be going round in circles, and kept repeating the same negative things over and over in my mind ; I am never chosen for castings, I am always second best, nothing is working, I have no job, I have no money, I am ugly .. In short, a downward spiral of negativity and desperate thoughts. But fortunately it is also in these moments that we learn .. and whilst trying to cheer myself up and bring back some self-esteem, I stumbled upon a video all about personal development which gave one particular positive key phrase to repeat everyday…. This video and sentence in particular centered around money, but since everything in my life seemed to be down, I made it relative for all aspects of my life and the result was instant… My life and especially my way of seeing things were transformed .. I had a switch go off in my head, because I understood that everything was achievable, all I had to do was ask for it.. Asking is easy and efficient as long as we do it properly.. And whether it be asking or simply the way in which we express ourselves, we must completely forget negative phrases and thoughts like; “I need nothing”, I’ll never make it “” I am not up to it “.. We must substitute these for more positive forms and expressions that build us up, not tear us down… and at the same time we must also let go of everything, let life do its job.. The things we need will always come to us, when we most need them (If it doesn’t come, then its simply not the right time, or it is not good or meant for us) .
So to sum up ; have faith, always, even if sometimes it is not easy , and do not be afraid to ASK !! It is not a magic wand of course, and it does not prevent us from doing all that we can to make our dreams come true, but already by modifying the way we express things, by using the power of positive thinking, sending out clear requests to the Universe, we are putting the odds in our favour. The glass is always half full, and its so important to remember that 😉
Ask..
- ” I have everything that I need, for myself, for the others and as the Universe wishes it.. “
Repeat this sentence every day, several times a day as a mantra, aloud or mentally. We can also be more specific and replace the word “Everything” by what we need, : Kindness, Love, Happiness, Abundance, Work, Health, Travel, Success or whatever is important to us, and repeat every sentence with the word of our choice. Repeat it every day, phrase by phrase, as a mantra.Im doing this version and I replace the dotted lines by what I need.. I write down all my sentences and I repeat them with different words filled in.
- “I have all the …….. that I need, for myself, for the others and as the universe wishes it “
At the beginning its difficult to really believe in what we are saying but I found that after several days, that evolves, and for me I began to really say the words with a purpose, an intent which developed and, it became an enjoyment to repeat these sentences, as if everything was possible in fact (I know it is strange) especially as the first changes seemed very fast in my life.. I really recommend trying it!! I do it regularly, when I feel the need, and it really helps me a lot ! And even if we are sceptical concerning energy of thoughts and spoken phrases, it doesn’t hurt to try, and just repeat these phrases over, when we are feeling down… 🙂
Positive memos & notes everywhere!
Another useful technique to help us to change our daily way of thinking , are post-its, with sentences / positive words, that we can stick on our bathroom mirror, toilet, or in our diary, just to see them several times a day.. And we can also repeat them aloud. As for the choice of the sentences, choose ones that are completely the opposite of your negative thoughts, it can even be compliments about yourself, your life, your body, or thank you notes for your life, what we have accomplished, even being thankful just for being alive and having our health… In any case you can find ideas and sample expressions here, here or here..or in certain books focussed on this particular subject. You can also simply create your own by replacing the words that are relevant to you.. And why not make a list and share it with your Love and kids, and stick them everywhere in the house, in the books, on the fridge, the car to start the day feeling positive and upbeat…
=> Just to give you some ideas, I personnaly chose to concentrate on phrases that built up my (low) self-esteem, like this; : ” I love myself and I respect myself “, ” I am up to it ” ” I trust me ” ” I am beautiful ” etc.. and for the negative sentences going on and off in my head when I feel down for example: ” I am never chosen in the casting ” becomes ” I always get the jobs ” / ” Nothing works ” becomes ” Everything works, I am successful in all that I do ” / ” I have no job ” becomes ” I always have work ” / ” I have no money ” becomes “I have all the money that I need and more “/” I am ugly” becomes “Iam attractive and happy in my own skin”.. Well you get the idea 😉
