# Beauty bag /my current fav ..

Bonjour bonjour 😉 It’s been a while since I’ve published an article on my favorite beauty essentials of the moment so… voilà! Some gorgeous products which are perfect for summer ! My boyfriend also took part, so there are a few products that you can share with your other half (or not hahaha).

1/ Dr Jart+, science in the name of beauty..

The Korean brand Dr Jart+ has high quality skincare products for all skin types : young, mature, sensitive, irritated, men, women etc. Peter is actually using these two products more than I do !! He’s quite picky when it comes to skincare, as is his skin, so it seemed like a sign when I saw he took to all of these products. I’ll be doing a more detailed review on this brand, which is actually quite surprising, but anyway… it’s a magic brand which is also great for men!

The micro foam cleanser / In a nutshell, it’s simple, soft, effective and calming. It doesn’t dry the skin out, its mousse-like texture and smell are really nice, and afterwards you really feel like you have clean skin… It’s great for gentle cleansing, removing makeup and banishing impurities.
Water drop hydrating moisturizer/ This one’s a gem – it’s absolutely gorgeous (sadly as the two of us are using it, it won’t last long). Use morning and night to hydrate, plump and smooth skin, and revive tired and dull complexions. It’s basically a shot of freshness for all skin types (combination, sensitive, greasy, normal, fragile etc.) In terms of routine, it’s the first moisturizer I apply in the morning before the rest.

>>FYI, when it comes to Mister Dr Jart+, we’re far away from the organic, clean skin care trend, though it does have the famous 10 free formula. It’s free from parabens, talc, minal oils, tensioactif, colorant, triethanolamine, propylene glycol, benzyl alcohol, polyacrylamide and synthetic perfumes, so that’s something! 2/Bali body babe ..

During my last holidays in the sun, I tried out these famous products, which are made in Australia, and which are simply EVERYWHERE on Instagram & co. They are actually really nice (in fact I can’t live without them now). As well as having playful and colorful packaging, the super effective oils and skincare smell deliciously like summer and, above all, they are organic, vegan and respectful of the environment. It’s the full package so, obviously, we’re already on it! I received the natural tanning oil (gold bottle), the watermelon tanning oil in SPF 6 (pink bottle) the coconut lip balm and the SPF 15 BB cream.

The bb cream : I t’s just gorgeous – really ! It leaves a light glow on the skin, perfect for looking healthy and sun-kissed. It can be used as a makeup base or alone. In any case, it’s amazing! I put it on every day as love the unifying and correcting effect. It gives light coverage but is still super natural. Big love for this BB cream!
The tanning oils : These are all made of plants and coconut oil but I especially love the natural tanning oil because it’s tinted and smells so good. It’s perfect for hydrating, beautifying and regaining your natural skin tone… I even use it in Paris before a body casting session for example, or when I wear a dress, to bring a nice color to my Parisian skin. The effect is amazing! The same goes for the watermelon oil (which also smells delicious by the way). I use it to hydrate my skin before and after going in the sun, though not necessarily for tanning on the beach. In that case I’ll go for a SPF 30 or 50 as SPF 6 is bit low, what with my taste for far-off destinations.
And finally, the coconut lip balm: While it’s really nice, hydrating and smells divine, honestly, given the price, (18 euros) if you are weighing up which of the BB products to pick, it’s not necessarily a must-have.

>>In terms of pricing, you can expect to pay on average 20 euros per product and there are also gift sets with the brand’s essentials. The delivery is quite fast, and you should order from the Europe site (I’ve linked to the products on this website). In my opinion, if you had to choose just three products, these should be: the BB cream the SPF 6 natural tinted oil and the luxe moisturizing after sun lotion.

2/ Leonor Greyl..

A true must-have, this eco chic brand is a real essential when it comes to hair care with its targeted, high end masks. It’s the best of the best! And for those of you who follow my stories, you’ll remember that I discovered the LG masks a little while back. They are so amazing, from the packaging to the performance, and I love their textures and scents – I’m a huge fan.

LG hair routine : I have been using the bamboo marrow shampoo for long dry, or fragile hair and the amaranth mask, a soothing conditioner perfect for colored or highlighted hair, for a few months now. These products smell divine and really show results (my hair tends to get dry at the tips, especially when I’ve been out in the sun. As I’m regularly in the sun I have to really take care of my hair. The brand has lots of different products for all hair types. If you don’t know which one to choose, why not do the online diagnostic test to find products suited to your hair type. Personally, this really helped me choose mine 😉

The oils : It’s impossible not to mention LG’s oil. The most famous is ” l’ huile de Leonor Greyl”, THE repairing product to apply after shampooing, conditioning and straightening. I love using it on the beach as a UV screen. Its scent takes me far away and it’s one of the brand’s staples – a true must-have which you’ve surely heard of elsewhere. There’s another oil which I love, and which is definitely worth checking out, ” l’huile au Magnolia, body & face”. It’s got everything going for it with its gorgeous texture, golden color and amazing scent. I use this one on the body to nourish my skin and give it a satiny touch after the beach, bath or shaving – it’s a divine product for summer and winter alike! It can also be used as a makeup remover (but I think that’s a bit of a shame as I prefer applying it to the body). There are four other oils to try. I haven’t tested them yet, but if you have – feel free to share your experience <3

4/ The art of skincare by Dyptique ..

Let’s finish this post with a fabulous brand that I Iove, and one that we don’t always think of when it comes to beauty, which is a shame because the skincare is great, high end and high payoff. These products are great for my boyfriend, especially the serum.

Crush n°1 / Do son perfume mist. So, I’ve already blogged about Do son – it’s one of my favorite Diptyque perfumes. Peter me gave me the perfume cream version, which I always keep in my handbag. So, when I received the scent in perfume mist form you can just imagine my delight! This mist is ideal for summer. You use it like a traditional perfume, except you spritz it over the whole body – mmm!
Crush n°2/ The infused oil.. OH MY GOD – this one is fabulous! The bottle is beautiful, while the oil itself is really lovely. It smells gorgeous (like everything from Diptyque). It’s just great, free from comedogenic ingredients and it suits all skin types. This one is my boyfriend’s absolute favorite – he swears by it! It can be used morning and night to bring a soft touch to the skin … (though you only need a few drops – right babe?!).
Crush n°3 /The essential moisturizer… Super nourishing and with a gorgeous scent, this rich cream, made with prickly pear extract, is ideal for normal to dry, tired or dehydrated skin. Personally, I only use it at night because it’s super rich, and I add a drop of infused oil. Sometimes I apply a thick layer, to sooth and generate my skin – I love it! (Peter doesn’t use this one – he finds it too rich for his combination skin, he prefers the serums or the famous infused oil 😉
