# Beauty bag // my current crushes ..

Bonjour bonjour <3

For the last beauty bag of the summer, I’ve prepared a beauty selection from Parfumdo, a site specialized in perfume and cosmetics, which stocks a large selection of prestigious brands at super competitive prices compared to similar stockists. I discovered this site when they interviewed me in June (here)… and since then I’ve raided the store ..

Dior :

Big crush for the Capture youth anti-age serums. There are five of them in the range, a soothing serum, a plump filler serum, a mattifying one, a lifting one and a complexion-boosting serum. They are all calling out to be tested – it’s up to you to choose the one that best suits your skin. I use the matte maximizer and Peter uses the lift sculptor… and sometimes we switch !  😉 They have a great texture and scents and they create a great effect.. For the fall, we’ll change – we’ll start using the glow booster & soother serums..

Guerlain :

I’ve always been a huge fan of house Guerlain. I love all of their products but if I had to choose my favorite, it would be the Terracotta summer collection, which is just amazing. The products smell like a vacation – the sun and the beach. For this summer, I chose a limited edition bronzing powder called ” Terracotta route des îles”… This collector’s wooden compact is beautiful, and the powder is a mix of brown, gold and orange tones – the perfect combination to bring warmth to your complexion, pep up your skin and give a natural sun-kissed glow effect to the entire face… I love it ! By the way, talking of makeup, I also wear the brand’s volume intense mascara – the brush is great

Coming back to the Terracotta collection, I also love  Terracota le parfum and the dry oil l’huile sous le vent, which both feature tiare flowers – one of my favorite scents. These two products smell so good that it’s like bottled sunshine that sweeps you away to an exotic far-off paradise.. I’m crazy about them!  House Guerlain used the smell of Terracota powder as inspiration for the perfume and they nailed it ! It’s truly divine ! As for the dry oil, it’s perfect after the beach or the shower to nourish and enhances the skin’s natural tan.. I use it all year round… the only slight downside to this product is that the bottle is plastic and before it was made of glass… shame!

Chanel :

One of my must-haves of the summer (but also all year long) is the sweet pink Ballerina nail polishIt’s the perfect shade for a nude chic look, a true classic (I even prefer it to Mademoiselle by Essie for true nail connoisseurs.) I know that in the summer we usually get daring with color, but you really can’t beat a chic nude shade. It’s gorgeous on tanned skin. Sometimes I’ll wear two coats for a slightly more “opaque” look with a glossy top coat for a polished look. Another must-have is the small yet ultra-chic case holding oil control tissues by Chanel… I always have it in my handbag. These magic sheets absorb shine and excess sebum so you don’t have to reapply your powder twenty times a day or end up with your face plastered with powder ;). Apply it directly to the T-zone (forehead, nose, chin) or to the entire face to remove all traces of shine and mattify your skin.

Et voilà ! I hope you like my selection! And feel free to check out the Parfumdo website. They have such a gorgeous range of products. Wishing you all a lovely end of summer, and see you soon for a fresh article <3

xoxo
