Today I’m bringing you to a high-end hairdresser in the heart of Paris. Welcome to the adorable Nicolas Vlaemynck’s salon.
>> As you know, I am becoming more and more selective when it comes to the products and makeup that I use – even more so when it comes to my hair.
I prefer cruelty-free brands, which are respectful of the environment and without additives like silicone. Nicolas V. shares these principles and only uses carefully selected natural dyes and green products. That’s why I was excited to meet him and to discover his hair salon.
The salon: A cozy and chic nest
It’s in a gorgeous Haussmanian apartment, decorated with taste and elegance, that Nicolas V. welcomes you. You feel great there as soon as you arrive, especially as he only welcomes one client at a time. I really appreciated this detail as when you are getting your hair colored, it’s nice to have some privacy.
>> Before this, I had always been to salons where there were several clients at one given time. I have to say, once you have tried this exclusive and private appointment, it’s hard to go back to a “normal” salon. Actually, I only go to Nicolas now! ^^
Treatments… Less is more ..
We kept it simple and natural with a sun-kissed effect to bring some light to my color as well as a light patina to neutralize the warm (redish) tones. He then cut the lengths of my hair and the ends before washing my hair and applying a hydrating hair mask and styling.
>> I’m a big fan of Nicolas V.’s approach, in terms of his offer as well as his values. He never goes too far or too much, whether he is working on the cut or color. The effect is elegant, natural and refined (finally a hairstylist who doesn’t cut off more hair than you ask for!) What’s more, he’s super nice – it’s always a pleasure to get your hair cut there.

The prices are quite reasonable, especially when you consider the offer and the exclusivity of the place. As an example, you could expect to spend 120€ for a wash / treatment / cut / style for long hair or 55€ for a wash /treatment / style/ for long hair.
