# Skin TLC & Fall routine…

Hello hello!

Here’s a little selection of kind skincare products which are perfect for the season. I mix and match between all of them as they are products I am sent. However, according to your budget and needs, you can choose 1 or 2 per category to make up a full and personalized skincare routine. Guys, you will love all of these products too. The scents are nice but not too floral and their textures aren’t too creamy. Peter actually uses most of them, except for the mists which aren’t his thing. ^^

Beauty mists ..

Beauty mists are really on another level of skincare, to be applied morning and night. You spritz onto clean skin and leave to absorb for a few minutes before applying the next product. This is a selection of mists I’m using at the moment, but there are also lots of floral waters which I love and which are very calming, refreshing and clearing like cornflower, helichrysum and lavender for example.

  • Rosée d’aloès // Pur aloé .. Hydrates and refreshes. (organic & cruelty free)
  • Ananda // Antipodes .. Hydrates & calms .. This one is rich in antioxidants and I apply it morning and night (organic & cruelty free)
  • Activated mist // Youth to the people.. This one also hydrates and calms skin as it contains lots of antioxidants and hyaluronic acid. I switch between this one and the Antipodes. (Cruelty free / Clean beauty which means  no phthalates, sulphates, silicone, parabens, mineral oil or artificial colors)

Dry oils & serums..

At the moment, I often switch up between 4 skincare products which are all among my favorites. They are so nice in terms of texture and smell and really do my skin good. After applying to clean skin, I use a Roll on and/or Gua Sha for a relaxing yet awakening and decongesting routine. These are instruments in jade, in rock crystal, rose quartz or other materials used to drain the face, neck and neckline. They are great beauty tools inspired by traditional Asian culture. I’ll tell you about them in another post – they are really so great.

  • Worship // Antipodes.. I absolutely love ALL Antipodes skincare. I have already written about them on the blog actually… I’m a huge fan of their textures, efficiency and ethical standpoint. At the moment, I use Worship. This is a real serum with a liquid texture which penetrates the skin without leaving it shiny. This makes it perfect for use before applying makeup. It’s also packed with plenty of antioxidants. (FYI antioxidants protect the skin against free radicals & external aggressions like pollution, stress and UV rays. They strengthen the cells and help stop premature ageing. It’s super important to include one product with antioxidants in your daily skincare routine. (Organic & cruelty free)
(cruelty free / clean beauty )
  • Nourrish / John Master organic.. With jojoba oil, sunflower oils, gojis and more… I love this super rich oil, packed with antioxidants and fatty acids which leave the skin glowing and hydrated but never greasy. (Cruelty free / clean beauty)
  • Midnight recovery // Khiel’s .. I have been using this for years and I still love it (Peter does too – he’s always using it). It’s an ultra-repairing, with essential lavender oil, and primrose oil. It is really kind to skin, even if the fragrance isn’t my favorite. I use it when my skin is tired. (Not organic but 99.8% of natural origin)

Precious oils ..

I’m not crazy about all oils but some have benefits you can’t deny and I love using them from time to time like a special treatment, after a bath or after a face mask for example.  I apply them at night as the oil has quite a rich texture which tends to create shine during the day. As I have combination skin, I avoid that.

  • Prickly pear oil by Biotï , I discovered the benefits of this oil a few months ago when I received this beautiful Biotï bottle. It’s a Tunisian organic and ethical brand. The oil is fabulous as it’s anti everything, from anti-ageing to anti-acne, as well as being regenerating and repairing. It’s a great find. The only problem is that Prickly pear oil is high-quality, so it’s is quite expensive as it takes a lot of fruits to make one bottle. That’s why it’s considered to be a precious oil. The scent is distinctive but not bad. It is easily absorbed, but it is still oil so, like I said, it’s best to use it at night. (Organic & cruelty free)
  • Divine face oil // Antipodes .. A mix of avocado oil,  jojoba and rose hip which balances combination to greasy skin and nourishes dry skin. This one is also effective against wrinkles, skin spots and scars. Usually I don’t like greasy texture or the fragrance of avocado oil, which can be quite overpowering, but the Antipodes version is a delicate mix of several oils, all scented with orange and jasmine, which makes it super nice. As always with Antipodes, it’s a must-have..
  • Huile de Chaumoolgra.. This oil is perfect for those of you who have an uneven skin tone, pigmentation spots or hyperpigmentation and stretchmarks for example.  I warn you though, it doesn’t smell great and it’s very oily but it’s super-efficient as it evens out the pigment of the melanin. I use it as treatment sometimes as I have skin which is prone to melasma and it relives and balances while staying gentle, in contrast to other products geared toward hyperpigmentation, which are much more aggressive. As it’s very rich, it can clog the skin if you use it too often, which is why I use it for one week per month or every 3 days.

That’s it for this beauty routine inspiration. Get in touch if you have any questions!
